The Spicy Accountant - Finance Student with a Spicy Double Life

Creating adult content at almost 40 wasn't part of my master plan to financial freedom but here we are. And not even my first time.
I decided to write this blog to document my journey. Maybe get to inspire someone, create a relatable presence or maybe just help someone feel less alone like I do.
My first Time
The first time I started adult content was after trying and failing for a long time to repair the damage covid wreaked on my life. After over a year of trying to fix things, having been on EI, having my vehicle repossessed and working a minimum wage remote job that single handedly was destroying my mental health more than anything in my life ever had…I started adult content creation.
One thing I have realized about myself. I am incredibly resilient and I make money easy. I just spend it as easily unfortunately. So when I started, I set out with two goals.
Make enough to pay my bills and avoid another eviction threat from my apartment (at this point they'd threatened it twice..)
Save enough money to purchase a vehicle so I can get a real job
About 1 year later, I accomplished both goals and got myself back into what they call a "real job".. And that little car did decent at keeping me stable for a while. It lasted me a good 3 years before I finally traded it in, at a 27% interest rate, the effects of the repossession still kicking my ass.. brutal.
Round Two
Back into the present, I still have an incredible amount owing on my 14 year old trade that also is starting to become in desperate need of getting some work done.
So this time, I have 3 major goals.
Save enough to buy a truck and trailer - never homeless again
Pay off all my student loans, get amazing remote job - work when and where I want
Save enough for a home - sustainable future for my children
I chose these goals, because its now 6 years after covid and I'm once again being hit with the threat of near homelessness. The rent is getting higher, gas and groceries are out of control. My utilities are debilitating.. meanwhile I'm over here accepting a 2% raise when my expenses have gone up 20%. Everyday I'm seeing and hearing the effects the economy is having on other families and it breaks my heart.
The Clueless Spicy Blogger
This blog is going to be a variety of sharing my unconventional wealth building strategies as well as me building an education in finance. Maybe the two together don't make a lot of sense and will seem silly to some. This is for the ones that find this inspiring, relatable or who knows, maybe you're just nosey and will only ready the spicy stuff haha.. whatever gets you off babe. No judgement here xo.
I've heard adult content creators often referred to as spicy accountants. For me, this isn't just a euphemism. I currently work a remote position in a part time junior accountant role while working towards my diploma. I plan to eventually earn my bachelor's in commerce. Ultimately I want to be able to share my finance knowledge with others. If I find a way to get myself through this, I'm coming back for yall.
Fun fact, I'm also a bit woohooery, so if you're into that, bonus. If not, hopefully you find my references amusing. With that being said.. But today is April 1st 2026 and I decided to start my blog today as it's the rightful historical new years, not the georgian/roman one. The OG new years! I'm starting anew. I've made my resolutions, its a full moon, feels poetic. Here's to shedding the past year and really focusing on creating a sustainable financial future. This year is going to change everything.
So if you're interested in following my journey as a content creator while I learn a bit about finance and navigating life, this may be the place for you. I really don't have a real plan for the direction this page will take nor am I seasoned writer. My amateur writing will probably annoy you. But right now its for my own therapeutic purposes, like painting and singing, its something I love doing but admittedly am not very good at haha.
